"Mad Due to Chafting in that Outfit"

Film: Mad Love (1935)

Alias: Rollo

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, but then Evil

Summary: Ah, that fickle thing that is love. It can lead to happiness, and it can lead to ruin. And by ruin, we almost always mean obsession. Because the moment one starts pouring everything into getting this one person as a mate is when it all starts going to Hell. Case in point, Dr. Gogol.

History: Dr. Gogol looked like a complete introvert, and certainly acted the part. He spent the better years of his life obsessing over Yvonne Orlac, a famous theatre actress. Unfortunately, she was already married to a guy named Stephen. Fuming with jealousy, Gogol saw his chance at getting Yvonne upon witnessing the execution of a knife-throwing serial killer named Rollo. When Stephen got into a train accident, Gogol replaced the man's hands with Rollo's and even took his identity with a spiffy metal costume. Poor Stephen soon found that he was only good at knife throwing now (at the worst times, too), and that Gogol creep was vying for Yvonne.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: Upon abusing Yvonne after seemingly winning, Stephen's new hands bite the mad doctor in the bum when the man throws a knife square into his back, killing him.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Any of Gogol's victories are a matter of circumstance, and he looks like the awkward teenage years of Dr. Evil from "Austin Powers". He should have kept that neat-looking metal suit more often.

Trivia: -This film is often known as "The Hands of Orlac", which is the story it's based on.

-Gogol was the first American acting role of famous Nazi Germany escapee Peter Lorre.

Tragically, he had no power. Just desperation.

Personally, he's rather cute.

Love REALLY hurts. Especially when it bores into your eye.

"I'm chafting!"

Gogol regrets his "floating hands" experiment.

"Really, who would add SONGS to Pygmallion?"
